Authorize by Email

  1. Upon purchase of a license, RFgen assigns and emails you a Customer ID and serial number. The Customer ID and Serial Number will look similar to the example below:
  2. Customer ID: 7382

    Serial Number: KXI8N-9384

  3. Submit your Customer ID, serial number, and your server system’s ID/fully qualified domain name to:
  4. Support@RFgen.com

    Subject: Technical \ Licensing

Note: If you lost your customer ID or serial number, you can still request an authorization certificate via email. Be sure to include your company’s information, server’s system ID/fully qualified domain name, and your email address. The server system ID is necessary to help RFgen create the authorization certificate.

  5. Support will verify your purchase information and then email your: Customer ID, serial number, authorization certificate (RFgen.cert), and certification installation instructions.
  6. Copy the certificate to your \ProgramData\ RFgen60 folder.
  7. Restart your Secure Label Service if it isn't running.
  8. From your Windows Taskbar, (if you pinned the Mobile Unity Platform Console to your TaskBar), click on Start Print Service.
If you already have your Mobile Unity Platform Console running, you can click on the Print Services tab, then click on the Start Print Service button.
Note: If you need to perform a force start, you can also open a command prompt and run this command:

  9. RFgenSLS600.exe -Service

  10. You should see the number of License Printer Connections and License Status on your Print Services tab.
